Direct Slate Supplies Limited was set up in the Winter of 2002 by David Burroughs who has spent the last 30 years importing, marketing, and selling both natural and fibre cement slates.

David recognised that both the roofing and flooring slate market was becoming more competitive and with most other distributors overheads going up, the quality was going down. Direct Slate Supplies Limited is a low overhead distributor with high quality competitively priced materials purchased from the major manufacturers and quarries around the world whether it be natural slates from Spain, China and Brazil or manmade slate from Belgium. Direct Slate Supplies Limited also imports roofing accessories.
